With the recent surge of corporate twitter accounts who primarily seek to advertise by the subtle use of memes to relate to the younger audience, advertising is becoming more and more invisible because, lets face it, as soon as you identify something as an advert you ignore it. However, in the midst of these swindling corporate accounts, a hero rises... This is what we call in Spain "El Chocu" where the parody twitter account has gained more recognition between internet users than the real mascot of Kellogg's who is called "Choco" in Spain, thus becoming a celebrity of sorts. The account @Chocu_  changes its theme every now and then, the current one being Christmas (the name says: Chocu's "fucking good Christmas holidays" (special)), however, it has had several narratives embedded in the account through the use of other Kellogg's mascots whose names and character have been completely bastardised from the originals. When I was younger I watched Memoirs of a Geisha in the company of my parents and after finishing it, there was something that left me wanting more. I could not quite put my finger on why I found the movie so captivating (I was not very educated in terms of media at that age, you see) so I proceeded to watch it about another seven times in the subsequent years, enjoying every viewing as if it was the first. Recently I watched it once more and came to the realisation that apart from the fact that a lot of the characters extremely attractive the whole movie is made with the sole intent of titillating the viewer, to the extent that it even sparked quite a big controversy. Even from the source material, the book by Arthur Golden, the narrative's intention is to sell you a fantasy of the Geisha in Japan with no regards to historical accuracy, mixing aspects from the Oiran (japanese courtesans) and adding elements such as the selling of the Geisha's virginity which is not correct. The music video that I will be analysing is Lonely Digger by Caravan Palace . I came across this song accidentally while browsing youtube and immediately I was impressed by the animation, thus I thought that it would be a good idea to try and analyse the video. Firstly I must argue that in the present there are a myriad of music genres that fuse into each other in such a way that they overlap and sometimes distinguishing one from another is extremely tedious, nonetheless, this song in particular could be categorised as Electro Swing since it has influences from swing and jazz but combines them with House, Hip-Hop and EDM to make it easier to consume for the modern listener.  Before proceeding, you can watch the video for yourself: So, now that you have watched this, there are a few things that immediately stand out. For instance, the characters are all animals, but straying away from the blatantly obvious, there is a sense of exclusivity when the trio of cats enter the club,

Firstly I wanted to comment on Henry Jenkins'  view of what a story is since he states that "In its richest form, storytelling -- narrative -- means the reader's surrender to the author. The author takes the reader by the hand and leads him into the world of his imagination. The reader has a role to play, but it's a fairly passive role: to pay attention, to understand, perhaps to think... but not to act" For me, such quote raises many questions such as why should a reader not be able to act in the story? or, could a game with different endings and choices be considered a story that the author just expanded to harbour different narratives according to different choices? Furthermore, I believe it is very much false to state that games that allow for storytelling are 'walking simulators' since there are many games, The Witcher 3 , without going further, that disprove this theory by having well developed characters and story in addition to good gameplay. A
